Go for it, Linda. Xujun brings a magical intelligence to her writing that I find inspiring. As a nonfiction writer, I resonate with a sentiment from my interview with her, that it’s often a big deal for a writer to break away from actual events and write imagined ones. I’ve never thought of it that way before. When I play around with Xujun’s invitation to imagine, my mind turns into a creative playground.
