		<description>Excellent article. I am currently reading a novel/memoir titled &quot;Twelve Stones&quot; by Barbara Carole.  I have known the author personally for the past 2 years, but since her book describes her journey through the tumultuous 1960s and 70s, I now feel as if I&#039;ve known her forever. Her story and mine have so many meetings on the jagged rocks of those times. She is an amazing writer who has the gift of showing how each individual life matters, as does each individual action.  This is what good memoir -- and good fiction -- does.</description>
